Hot on the heels of their new sales strategy, JC Penney announced today that they will partnering with designer Nanette Lepore. Not only has the department store revamped their pricing, but they are also planning to do a series of store-in-store style boutiques, and leading the charge is the ever-lovely Lepore. Appropriately titled, “l’amour nanette lepore,” this girly, feminine, budget-friendly line will be aimed at teenage girls and is inspired by none other than Lepore’s daughter, Violet. And this isn’t your average get-it-while-you-can exclusive collab; the store will be a fixture on JC Penney’s Main Street with new merchandise arriving monthly. JC Penney’s Main Street will eventually have 80-100 branded stores. All this in the next two years. We can hardly wait!
