Holiday 2006: Isaac Mizrahi for Target Line

A couple of months ago I was in Target’s New York showroom, prepping for a TV segment on fall looks, when I came across early samples of Isaac Mizrahi for Target’s Holiday line. I was so excited about the looks, which feature amazing holiday dresses for under $75, that I couldn’t wait to write about them. The wait is now over. Note: Trapunto is a quilting technique which produces a raised surface/pattern on fabric, like diamonds, vines, leaves, etc. The patterns are threaded with a soft yarn or cording and sewn on top of the fabric. This process can add to the expense of the garment
