Walgreens doesn’t accept returns on gift cards, prepaid gift cards, sexual wellness items, COVID-19 testing kits, or hazmat-related items. You also can’t return shipped prescriptions.

You can only return contact lenses if Walgreens sent you the wrong lenses, the lenses are damaged, or you ordered the wrong prescription. Plus, the boxes have to be unopened and unexpired. If you meet those requirements, mail the contact lenses back using a shipping label from https://www.wgreturns.com/.

Made-to-order lenses are not returnable.

Take most returns to a Walgreens store

Except for contact lenses and large, bulky items, you must return all items to a Walgreens store. Find a store near you.

For bulky items like wheelchairs, call Walgreens customer service at 877-250-5823 to arrange for the return.

Refunds

If you make the return within the 30-day window and you have the original receipt, your refund is credited back to your original form of payment. The exceptions here are cosmetics and electronics. The store manager has the right to refuse return of those items, or to refund your purchase to a gift card.

Returns without a receipt

The store manager can decide how to handle your return of a product without a receipt. You may get refunded in a gift card.

If you have the receipt, you may return most items purchased from Walgreens online within 30 days of purchase for a refund. Refunds are issued in the original form of payment. You can take the return to a Walgreens store or send it in by mail. Include the original receipt, tags attached, and original packaging. Taxes are refunded at the local rate.

To check if a product is returnable, try processing a return label on the Walgreens website. You will get a notification if the product is nonreturnable.

When you don’t have the receipt

If you don’t have the original receipt for your online order, you can try to return the product in-store. The return will be subject to the store manager’s approval and, if accepted, will be refunded as a gift card. Taxes are refunded at the local rate.

Walgreens requests all your information just to return your item. I'm surprised they didn't ask for my SS# They want your phone#, license info and they put all of it into their computer system. I don't know about you but I don't like that one bit. There's no need for this accept to track you and drive you crazy or sell your info to another co. Don't we have enough of this gov't spying on us for no reason. So many ID's are stolen these days you can't be to careful. If you don't supply the info they won't give you your refund. This has got to stop. What happen to my right to privacy?
