How to Return An Item to Madewell

Madewell’s Return Policy: All in-store returns/exchanges in accordance with this policy require a government-issued ID and an original receipt to receive cash/check refund. Returns without an original receipt also always require a government-issued ID. Madewell gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise for full refund. Refunds must be accompanied by the original receipt and will be made in the form of the original payment. If the original receipt is unavailable, they’ll make an exchange or issue a merchandise credit based on the current selling price. After 60 days of orignal purchase, Madewell will gladly make an exchange or issue a merchandise credit for the price at the time of sale (with original receipt) or for the current selling price (without original receipt). Please note that all vintage items are final sale. Catalog and Internet purchases may be returned to any Madewell retail store for immediate credit. Madewell retail stores can only accept returns of items that were purchased at a Madewell retail location or through the Internet.
