You’re not going to become Warren Buffett by selling Aldo shoes from cinco seasons ago in a garage sale, but there’s a time and a place for yard-sale merchandise. Save your higher-end clothing and accessories for Craigslist or eBay, but round up your older style choices for a yard sale. Think that free T-shirt you got for being the 100th customer at your local Red Lobster, hoodies from your Kappa Kappa Gamma Volunteer Day 1999 and style flops from the past. (Shoulder pads, anyone? Some cool hipster cat’s gotta want it.)
