How to Make Holiday Ornaments
What you need
Hot glue gun
Cork – use an old cork board or cut up a wine cork
Beads – you can buy beads or buy old jewelry from your local thrift store and re purpose it. Beads can be any size, from small to large. Just make sure that they will fit on the pin without being too wobbly.
Ribbon or a wire ornament hook to hang the ornament.
Cut up the cork into small squares. You want it big enough to hold six pins, but small enough to hide behind the beads.
Slid the beads onto the floral pin.
Add a dab of hot glue to the cork and slide the pin on. Let it dry before adding the next pin.
Repeat until you have a fabulous snowflake.
Glue on a loop of ribbon or a metal ornament hook. With the ornament hook, straighten the bottom of the hook and coat it in hot glue. Then, insert it into the cork until it feels firmly stuck. Let it dry before hanging on your tree.
