Housing Works Thrift Shops Spring Previews

What: Spring previews at Housing Works Thrift Shops in NYC, meaning seven stores have been restocked with clothes, accessories and home furnishings that have been saved up through the long cold winter.

The Lowdown: This translates to seven blow-out sales, where for a nominal fee you get first crack at the good stuff. What good stuff? A sampling: a Marc Jacobs hobo bag, Prada dress, Ralph Lauren sandals, Chloe wedges, a Henredon sofa, mid-century Irish church chairs, and a Tiffany crystal vase. Intrigued? We thought so.

Shop: The sales kick off Tuesday, March 4, at the 122 Montague St. location, with subsequent sales at other locations taking place through March 18. Tickets are $8 if you buy online before the sale, and $10 at the door. For dates, times, and locations, and to buy tickets, visit www.housingworks.org/thrifts.
