I’ve been using coconut oil on my skin as a lotion.  It sounds gross, but it really does go on just like a lotion.  And it smells great!  I put it on overnight, then in the morning my skin is so much softer than if I had used a lotion.  Just be extra careful not to let it touch your face, I’m assuming it would make you break out.

I use masks when I take a shower.  the mask stays moist and I think the steam from the shower helps it penetrate better.

I shampoo and condition my hair before I go to bed, but I don’t rinse out the conditioner. I put on a shower cap and go to bed. In the morning I rinse it out, and I have soft, shiny hair!

I use Skin So Soft bath oil.  I put it on before I dry when I get out of the shower. When I dry it buffs the oil into my skin.  This leaves my skin smooth and soft all day, plus it keeps away biting insects.

right before you turn off the shower, blast some cold water into your hair. it closes up the follicles (or something like that) that opened up when under hot water, and it helps to decrease frizz. really good for us curly haired gals

I purchase vitamin E capsules and break them open then apply the pure vitamin E at night, under my cream.  My skin stays so soft, even in winter and it just feels more sanitary than dipping my fingers into a pot every day.

I always wash my feet whenever I change shoes; never wear the same socks/hose twice; and clean my shoes, inside and out, after each wearing. I give myself a weekly pedicure and use a special foot cream - my feet are very soft.
