HoliDAILY Contest #16: Hair Care Goody Bag

| December 13, 2008 10:00 AM | Posted in , ,

From now until Dec. 31st, Kathryn and the gang at TBF will be giving away daily prizes to lucky TBF winners. Check back everyday at 9am to enter.

At midnight, two lucky TBF readers will win this prize, from Rickysnyc.com and Nelsonjbeauty.com

The Prize: A complete hair care goody bag with fusion rollers and hair pins from Rickysnyc.com and Brazillian Hair Masque from Nelson J Beauty.

Why you want this:  Unfortunately, the economy has forced us to limit our trips to the beauty salon. While we’ll miss our hairstylist’s magic hands, a limited budget doesn’t have to equal a messed up do. The products in this goody bag (fab rollers, up-do hair pins, and an amazing Brazilian hair masque) are the tools you need to help you create a fab holiday-ready hair do.

No real holiday “style” to tell of—-I have a pixie cut!  But, it could still use some TLC between appts.

My favorite holiday hairdo is just big and wavy.  Sometimes with one side pinned back retro style.  I just wave up my hair with a curling iron and brush it out with my fingers.  The best part is that my hair is thick enough to not need washing every day, so I can skip showering that night and just brush my waves out for softer ones the next day too.  And if I don’t have time for waves, I braid two chunks of hair on the sides of my head and pull them back so it’s a half updo with braids.  Fast, easy, and everyone loves it.

My favorite holiday hairstyle is the ponytail. With finals and Christmas presents and traveling to think about, I don’t have time to worry about my hair.

My favorite holiday hair style is easy, shiny & healthy hair, not overworked. Now that I have short hair in a bob, I simply use volumizer and some sort of shine product afterwards.

My favorite holiday hairstyle is putting my hair(which goes about down to the middle of my back in a low, loose ponytail at the nape of my neck, and then curling wispy strands that frame my face as well as curling the hair in the ponytail. It’s very elegant and works with many face types and hair.
