For eyes…choose a shadow color from the opposite end of the color wheel to really make eyes “pop” beautifully. (This tip works for all women!)

In the evening, embrace the exotic with vibrant jewel tones. For day time earth tones bring a gentler glow. Keep your hair and skin soft and glowing with shea butter. Instead of trying to minimize your features to make them appear more “regular” emphasize your individuality - you’ll be surprised how fabulous you look when you let the real you shine.
I think the best tip I can give is use makeup that works with your skin tone. Don’t try to be like someone else. If you have very dark skin, use vibrant jewel tones on your eyes- like Emerald, or a sparkly Plum color. Think Peackock. And if you have a medium skin tone, like say… Beyonce, use a surprising color for your eyes. I mean Green eyeliner, or gold eyeshadow. NO PINK. And if you have light-ish skin like me, earthy colors like Dark brown and tan, gold and green… things lke that.
An amazing lip color - bold and marvelous - is your best friend. :)
Really bright eye shadow, like in the silvers and blues.
I like vibrant lips and accentuating my eyes.
Wear jewel tone clothing
Drink as much water as you can (at least one glass as soon as you wake up)—applicable to all women!
When in doubt try it out. Never dismiss any color as too bright or bold for your complexion. Skin of color is a great palette for a wide range of colors!
Be nice to your hair! Curly hair is beautiful :)
