I love bootcut styles in dark washes. So versatile!

Favorite Jean style: darker colored, bootcut, between mid and low rise, long in length, design on the back pockets to accent the rear area, no tears/rips/holes - Just a nice fitted pair of jeans to help you feel good no matter what you pair with it

A fairly dark rinse bootcut never goes out of style…I like mine fairly low-rise (which isn’t very low on me!) and with some pocket detail to make it interesting.

I like dark wash trouser jeans with a medium rise. They can be dressed up or down!

My favorite jean style is a mid-rise bootcut in a dark wash with minimal pocket embellishment.

Right now my favorite jeans style is a flare leg jean, dark wash, with classic 5-pocket styling and seam detail on front legs from NY and Co. They balance out my pear shape body just right.

Actually, let me provide some additional feedback that might be more helpful than my previous comment.  The trouble I have with most budget jeans brands is an accentuated muffin top.  I find that cords tend to be more flattering at the waistline but less versatile from a style perspective.  The only jeans I own that I love are a pair from Blue Cult and I think that has to do with the fabric content (perhaps more stretch?).

Bootcut jeans in dark wash are my favs—so versatile. Plus, it won’t kill you if you have to sit in them all day (in contrast to, say, skinny jeans)...

Im a curvy 5’2”, so I have a lot of trouble finding jeans. I find when they are tapered at the knee a flared out just a smidge at the ankle they provide a good balance to my hips without making my legs look like stove pipes. The darker the better for that slimming effect. When I find a good pair I buy two and tailor one pair to wear with heels, and one to wear with flats. I have found Joe’s and Hudson jeans to have the best fit for my figure, but when I am watching my budget the Gap has some excellent styles for curvy girls as well!

I absolutely have to have dark, bootcut jeans in a mid rise. No low cuts for me because I don’t want muffin top!

...ive always liked a dark rinse with either boot cut or skinny leg to be able to tuck into a boot.  usually i go for a mid-rise.
...also a little FYI.  turn your jeans inside out when you wash them as it’s seems to maintain the dark color longer and never let them see the inside of the dryer.  i really like the look of the “sweet dee” so…i hope i win!

Straight-leg or boot-cut, mid-rise (no whale tails for this girl), dark wash for the win.  Also, belt loops big enough for my cute, but wide, leather belts.
