HoliDAILY Contest #15: Win A Pedi Relax 3-piece Foot Care Line

| December 12, 2008 10:00 AM | Posted in , ,

From now until Dec. 31st, Kathyrn and the gang at TBF will be giving away daily prizes to lucky TBF winners. Check back everyday at 9am to enter.

At midnight, one lucky TBF reader will win this prize, from Pedi Relax available at Sante Active USA.

The Prize: Pedi Relax 3-piece Foot Care Line

Why you want this: The average person walks 115,000 miles in their lifetime—no wonder our feet can look and feel “challenged”.  This prize is the perfect solution for those who plan on walking all of those miles (and maybe a bit more), with an intense hydrating cream, exfoliating cream, and protective barrier cream.

I put lots of lotion on my feet and then put on heavy socks while I’m sleeping whenever my feet are dry.

I wish I had a tip! I have only had a pedicure once, and I am really bad at caring for my poor feet. I do clip the nail straight across :)

Use one of those scrapers after getting out of the shower on my heels and other places that tend to callous up. Then put on some shea butter foot cream and socks.

I really don’t take good care of my feet, and it shows. As an errands girl for a local insurance company, I’m on my feet all day. I really should take better care, but feet are the last thing on my mind. Maybe if I found a product that worked half decently, I might take the time to care for them!

After I get home from getting a pediure, I apply an additional clear top coat at home. I feel like I seal the polish in even longer.

After showering while my feet are still wet I wet a pumice stone and go over all rough spots.  After drying off I apply a thick, rich lotion and put on socks.  I try and do a foot soak once or twice a month with foot scrub, pumice and lotion as well.

I could so use this- I have ridiculously dry feet, especially heels. I use the pedi egg and apply lotion at night and then wear cotton socks to help keep them moisturized while I sleep.

On a weekly basis, I love using the pumice stone on my heels while I’m soaking in the tub.  Monthly, I think it is worth the money to get a professional pedicure; besides your toes always look fabulous!

My favorite pedicure tip is to relax when you are putting on nail polish, and when you are done take a Q-tip or simialar tool and wipe away any excess nail polish. It makes everything a lot easier and less stressful.

hmmmm, I don’t know if I have any pedicure tips.  I think the best I have is to not go swimming in a pool the day after a pedicure.  My pedicure that time didn’t last very long at all.
