What: H&M is launching three new lines in April: H&M Conscious Collection (April 14), Swedish Hasbeens for H&M (April 20) and H&M Fashion Against AIDS (April 26).
What They Say: H&M continues their eco-friendly fashions with this collection made from environmentally-adapted and greener materials such as organic cotton, Tencel® and recycled polyester, helping customers look and feel great this spring.
H&M has formed a partnership with beloved footwear brand Swedish Hasbeens, to create a special, limited-edition collection of footwear styles for women this spring.
H&M’s Fashion Against AIDS initiative hopes to raise funds and awareness for HIV / AIDS with a unisex collection for men and women…H&M Fashion Against AIDS is an important initiative for H&M, with the collection donating 25% of sales to youth HIV / AIDS projects around the world.
What We Say: We’ve kept you updated about H&M’s new collections, but the time is finally (almost) here for you to actually buy this stuff. As for H&M’s Conscious Collection, we are big fans of the all white clothing line– it’s fashionable and earth-friendly. H&M Fashion Against AIDS is a collection that we found wearable but not fabulous. However, it is fabulous that your money goes to a great cause. Finally, we love the Swedish Hasbeens shoe line. We’re really happy that clog sandals are back in for spring and summer (and not just because we stole a vintage pair from our mom’s closet). They go well with high-wasted jeans and the floral patterns of this upcoming season, so get ready to channel the 60’s and 70’s.
Keep your eyes peeled in stores and let us know what you think of these collections!
