What: The new fall ad campaign from Jordache, featuring ubermodel Heidi Klum.
What the fashion heads say: According to Fashion Week Daily, print ads will debut in September, and in them “… Klum wears the classic Jordache falcon crest skinny jeans in dark indigo, sold in high-end retail stores as well as at select Macy’s and Urban Outfitters nationwide.”
What I say: Remember when Jordache was sold at Wal-Mart? The brand has had its highs and lows, in terms of pricepoint and profile, but it seems this incarnation may be high on both counts. We love Klum and the label’s willingness to hire glamazons from the over-30 set (Elizabeth Hurley is former Jordache face), but budget doesn’t appear to be part of this particular campaign.
