The Budget Fashionista

This week, our fellow fashionistas voiced their opinions on a host of fascinating issues in our daily polls:

~Looks like highlights are still a “do” when it comes to hair, but they’re not for everyone. 47% of readers said they love this summery look, while 9% thought it was tacky, and 42% said it could go either way.
~Wayfarer sunglasses got a big “no way” from our readers.  64% of readers said this trend just doesn’t work for real women, while 20% thought it was uber fashionable, and 14% hadn’t made up their minds.
~ Are French manicures still tres chic?  “Mais bien sur!” said 56% of readers, who love this classic look.  Only 18% of readers found it cheesy, and 24% said you have to be careful and choose the right manicurist.
~Our web savvy readers know online shopping is a great place to find bargains, but they look elsewhere too. 50% said their favorite place to shop was in stores, while 43% preferred to browse websites, 5% liked catalogs, and 1% tunes in to networks like HSN and QVC.
~ In celebration of Earth Day, we asked readers what they thought of environmentally friendly fashion.  Unfortunately, it seems a small majority of readers still prefer their green in their salads, rather than on their bodies.  51% said green fashion is too granola, while 49% thought it was great!
