Guest Post: Graphic Cuffs-The Newest Trend in Denim

The following is a guest post from our friends at Lucky.

“Last month I blogged about several of our favorite looks from Alexa Chung’s forthcoming collection for Madewell and of all the cute details, there was one that caught my eye: polka dots along the inside of a pair of skinny jeans that show when you roll them up.

Since cuffing denim is such a big trend right now, it is a rather genius idea to add a print to the inside of the leg.

Turns out, Madewell is not the only one banking on the popularity of this fad. Gap currently offers a straight leg jean with a cool bird graphic that becomes visible when the pants are rolled.

I really like the versatility of this look. If you decide that you don’t feel like being whimsical that day, you can choose not to show the pattern and you still have a pair of regular goes-with-everything jeans.

Do you like this trend?”

I really like the roll-up trend, but not a big fan of this. It’s certainly creative, but I think the roll-up in and of itself (for the men in particular) is trendy enough.

    Great blog!
