However, not all was lost. There were a few, very notable, fashion stand outs. Here’s my picks:
TBF’s Best Dress List: Golden Globes

Drew Barrymore
Why: Ms. Barrymore executed the Grecian look perfectly by keeping the accessories to a minimum and hair pulled back.

Helen Mirren
Why: The teal blue color of the dress complemented her light blond/gray hair and pale skin. Plus, Mirren showed that women of a certain age can still “drop it like it’s hot”.

America Ferrera
Why: Her violet dress with ruched details on the bodice was totally slamming, proving that you don’t have to be a size two to be fabulous. Plus, I’ve loved her since “Real Women have Curves”

Katherine Heigel
Why: The blond bombshell had the best “black” look of the evening. This figure hugging dress shows the power of a great tailor/seamstress. She’s sort of like the Uma Thurman of TV.

Djimon Honsu
Why:  Because he actually cared enough to wear a tailored suit (which costs exactly the same price (sometimes less) than the off-the-rack Armani versions worn by some of his acting colleagues)

Now, us normal folks will be able to purchase these star looks in the next few week at sites like Coco Myles and from knock-off line ABS by Allen Schwartz.
