Get This: Sex and the City Style

October 14, 2007

Sneak peek photos from the set of the Sex and the City movie have been making the rounds everywhere (including on TBF, here) – and while plot is important you know that, for most of us, right now it’s all about the clothes.

Well, here’s a pic you can really sink your teeth into—Cynthia Nixon, in a silk shift dress that’s at the height of chic (graphic print dresses are everywhere) but not at the top of the price points. From Maggy London, it’s retailing for just $148 at Nordstrom. There – now you can be one of the girls without that movie star salary.

Wow – that’s a seriously cute dress.  And from Maggy London – who knew?  I think it actually looks better on Cynthia than on the Nordstrom model, which gives hope to the rest of us!

Hey Kathryn,

I just wanted to say congratualtions on your spread in the New York Daily. Great piece and you look great too!

Keep up the good work! And please let us know when your show finally comes on air. I hope it will be aired in Canada.

Wow, I didn’t realize they were making a Sex in the City movie. It should be great. I love this dress.

It does look boxy on the model, but if you look closely I believe Cynthia Nixon has it belted which is why it looks absolutely fabulous on her!

When even the model looks weird and boxy, I know I need to pass…. I don’t even want to imagine what it would look like on moi!

Too cute!  I am so excited for the movie.

Make it a tank style and add the belt as Cynthia did and you have a hit. I can see this on a woman with curves compared to someone built like a boy.
