Remember this line from the movie Legally Blonde - “What always makes us feel better, no matter what? A Mani/Pedi of course.”

As dumb as the line may sounds, it really is true. There’s really something both relaxing and exciting about getting one’s fingernails and toenails done. Unlike shopping for designer shoes, its a luxury that’s actually affordable to regular (that is, non-wealthy) women. Now call us crazy (like y’all do for my love affair with Vaseline) but some people, like my friend Sabina, actually prefer to do their own nails at home.
