A couple of quick shopping notes to get your week started off right . . .

~ The Gap has reduced the price of their jeans down to $39.95. They say it’s for a “limited” time, but the inside scoop is that they’re trying to see if they reclaim a bit of the denim market loss to over-priced denim companies like Seven. Regardless, I think that they Gap should focus less on paying stars to promote their product (although I do love SJP) and more on their denim roots. It’s the denim stupid.

~ Finally, something that is cool and cheap. For those of you with kids, basketball star Shaquille O’Neil has a line of sneakers at Target. According to my top secret elementary school sources, the sneakers are “cool”. 

~ Barney’s Warehouse Sale starts this Thursday (August 18th) in NYC. Your truly will be attending. I have my knee and elbow pads ready.
