Free stuff for my college peeps…

Great way to grab young people to make them into life-long customers with other product lines (Estee Lauder, Origins, etc.). Way back when, my first skin-care venture was with Clinique. I realized quickly it was not for me. I read “The Skin Type Solution” and found out some cosmetic companies try to sell entire product lines. Their justification - it’s designed to work together to get results. No. Once you know your skin type, you pick and choose what will work for you. Unless it’s winter, why use moisturizer if you have oily skin? Still use Estee Lauder’s Aliage!

Ah…this brings back nostalgic memories for me…the Clinique 3-step…this simple regimen seemed complicated to me as a younger person…Now it looks blissfully simple and straightforward.

I also am old enough to remember when Bonus Time only required something like a $13 purchase to qualify for the goodies.

Thanks for reminding me of time when I didn’t need wrinkle cream!!!

What, no Columbia? We’re stylish. I’m broke (agh, tuition glitchiness made me pay an extra 500 which I can’t afford and am going to have to belt-pull a bit to compensate) - I could use free stuff.

Wow, Clinique is still targeting college students with their 3-step skincare system?  That’s amazing.  They were doing that 20 years ago!  I remember trying it myself when I was in college.  I never could use the Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion (the point was lost on my oily/problem skin) and I recall it was always the first thing I pitched during “Bonus Time”.  Anyone else notice that every single Clinique bonus includes a trial size of that lotion? ;-)
