I’ve had my eye on this white silk skirt with blue flower print at the Gap for the past month. My free spending Fashionista side said “Buy it”, but my frugal Budget Fashionista side said “Wait, all Gap things come to sale”. The Budget Fashionista side won, and so I waited. And waited. Now the skirt is only available in a size 0 and 6, which is great if you wear a size 0 or 6, but not if you’re like me and wear a size 14. Thank God for online shopping. I found the skirt and this handy free shipping coupon.
This brings up a very important question . . . when referring to the store—do you call it “The Gap” or “Gap”. I worked at the Gap about a billion years ago (shout out to all Gap denim experts) and I vaguely remember some meeting about this. I personally think it sounds better as “The Gap”, rather than “Gap”—just my two cents. Furthermore, is it written “Gap” or “GAP”. I like the all caps better because I’m lazy and a poor typer.
