Tina Fey
Why it was bad: I love you Tina Fey, but I hated this dress. I know you are like busy writing/directing/producing/catering 30 ROCK, but NBC could have at least hired a stylist to help you out.

Grade: B for comfort, D for style

Aida Turturro
Why it was bad: The Sopranos star looked like a hot mess, her hair was everywhere, one boobs was going left, while the other was going right. It was like she woke up after spending a night dancing on the bar at Coyote Ugly, headed to the Beverly Center shopping mall, and grabbed whatever was on the sale rack at Cache.

Grade: F all around. I wonder what Tony would say

Jenna Fischer
Why it was bad: Is she pregnant? Otherwise, it’s just too much fabric. Perhaps if it was a bit more tailored through the torso, it would have been a better dress

Grade: B for effort, C for style

Why it was bad: I swear the stole this dress from the closet of Judith Light (who, by the way,  looked pretty darn good).

Grade:D for effort, C for stealing Judith Light’s style

I think Tina Fey looked good, especially her hair and makeup.  It is a much softer prettier younger look for her.  I was surprised.  Also I think her look overall probably looked better in person.

Well, Jenna Fischer was wearing an empire waist because her back is healing from when she broke it earlier in the summer.  I still think she could have found something less hideous, though.

Jenna Fischer has a broken back. She commented on the red carpet that she had to have big loose dress in her mid-lower back area for comfort and for the brace.

The blogosphere has been so down on Jenna Fisher’s dress, but I actually really like it!  For one, it’s not the same old boring deep plunge column dress that every other woman was wearing.  Last night’s gala consisted primarily of an army of underfed, satin clad zombies.  She dared to try a print, which I also like despite the flack she’s catching for it. I wasn’t thrilled with the bow, I’ll admit that, but overall I loved it – it was eyecatching and different.  Plus, the woman was wearing a back brace and she still looked good in that dress.

I’m thinking that Miss Fischer should have carried around a little sign that stated her predicament.

All these women looked fine to normal to me.  Why do we prefer people to look like they have been dipped in varnish at these events?  It is the zombie clone look that is in true bad taste. Well, at least IMNHO

I thought Jaime Pressley was one of the better dressed women there.  I loved the understated, tasteful nature of the front of the dress, then you see the back and it’s very sexy.  And since she plays such a bimbo on tv, I think it was good that she went for a completely different look at the awards show.

You should have mentioned Hayden Panitierre as well. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her… but she’s not preggers either.
