There’s no doubt that First lady Michelle Obama has a serious eye for fashion, and apparently every designer who works with her scores amazing collaboration deals. First, we heard about Jason Wu for Target, and now, Doo-Ri Chung for Macys. Doo-Ri recently dressed Mrs. O for a state dinner in South Korea, and today, Macy’s announced that Doo-Ri will design a limited collection for their designer capsule collection series. “Doo-Ri for Impulse only at Macy’s” will feature art inspired prints, jersey pieces mixed with leather, and detailed knitwear at an affordable price.

“My clothes have always been about making women feel elegant and modern, which is why I am so excited about this capsule collection,” said Doo-Ri Chung. “It truly embodies the confidence and creativity of the modern woman.”

Priced on average from $39-$159, Doo-Ri’s collection will launch in select Macy’s stores nationwide and online beginning February 15, 2012.

Super excited. Any designer that works with jersey is a designer for me. I am excited about this and the Giambattista Valli for Macy’s as well.

That green embellished belt with the purple dress for the recent State Dinner was everything!!!
