Cynthia Rowley and Avon Get Creative

Branding diva (and designer) Cynthia Rowley continues to find new markets, teaming up with Avon for a line of cosmetics for nails, lips, cheeks and eyes, in living color, part of a bid to up Avon’s cred with a younger, hipper set. The limited edition line will be hawked through a print ad campaign to appear any minute in Vogue.

Colors are current, heavy on the deep plums and purples that have punctuated the runways for fall. Prices?  Eminently doable, ranging from a $4 pot of nail enamel to an $8 shadow quad. The big splurge? A $15 brush set, which is being marketed for its “beautiful beauty case.” I’ll stick with the pretty nail color, myself.
