Let’s be frank. Crocs are the one shoe brand people love to hate, akin to the hate that Windows Vista and the cast of “Jersey Shore” get. Heck, even Kathryn herself wasn’t exactly secretive about her dislike for the “elf shoes” when she candidly reviewed some of their past collections. But you know what? Things change. And Kathryn is now a (comfortable) fan.
We now have Windows 7, and MTV has finally announced the long-due cancellation of that show (which is really a disservice to all humanity, anyway). Meanwhile, Crocs have done their homework and have since came out with new, more fashion-forward styles for all seasons (that’s 300-plus styles of good-looking shoes, y’all!). Today, Crocs offer year-round footwear options like flats, sneakers, boots and heels–all as Croslite-comfortable as they’ve always been.
CrocStyle Insiders Fall/Winter 2012 Party Roundup
A lot of other people have become some of Crocs’ staunchest fans. Celebs like Halle Berry, Brad Pitt and Ryan Reynolds are seen sporting these comfy kicks. Crocs have also joined the $1 billion sales club–oh, and they made it there faster than Nike! Most of all, they’ve sold 200 million pairs in 400 stores in 90 countries around the globe for the past decade. Those are definitely feats worth a fete!
And a fete they most certainly had! Crocs, together with our very own CrocStyle Insider, Kathryn, threw a 10th-year anniversary bash-cum-fall/winter party, right inside the Crocs store in Soho, NYC last September 6. Guests got a sneak peak at the newest fashion-forward styles from Crocs’ fall/winter 2012 line, celebrated Fashion’s Night Out in comfort and style and brought home some cool Crocs swag. Check out the slideshow for more photos of the event.
