Head & Shoulders and Cosmopolitan Magazine are looking for the “Head Turner of the Year” - someone with personal style, charisma and stand-out achievements.
Enter by uploading a photo and 50-word essay on
from January 2 - 31. The top 10 finalists will be posted online and consumers will choose the winner (s). The grand prize winner will receive a three-day/two-night trip to New York City to participate in their own makeover and photo shoot that will appear in the June 2007 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine.

If this is a contest looking for someone with great style, why is the prize a “makeover”?
I see what you’re saying- but I’m 99.999% sure there were no sinister thoughts behind giving makeovers as a prize.
When you do photo shoots for major magazines- whether you’re a model or “normal” person, they always “make you over”.
Perhaps makeover is the bad…
