Camel is, by far, THE biggest trend of the season. This fashion standard was a major wardrobe staple during the resource limited WWII era and made a comeback in the Working Girl 1980s era. The color began its millennial comeback 2 seasons ago, when Phoebe Philo of Celine and Hannah MacGibbon of Chloe sent models sashaying down their runways in sand-hued fashions. Needless to say, Camel is the new black. It’s redeeming quality is obviously its stunning elegance but also the fact that it goes with practically everything. The obvious, and classic, styling choice is to pair the color with black. However, try pairing the classic camel coat with a red belt or putting a camel blazer or sweater over a blue or purple dress.
