Sears is Now Hot: BCBG Max Azria and Anne Klein Lines at Sears

This line is no longer available
This has been a week of new shopping discoveries. First Talbots and then Sears. Now all I need is for Balenciaga to do a line at Wal-Mart.

Run, walk, roller blade, snowshoe, do whatever you need to do to get to your nearest Sears to check out the new Parallel line by BCBG Max Azira and the Aline by Anne Klein line. Both these lines are better than the Isaac Mizrahi line at Target. Both are way better than the Nicole Miller line at Jc Penney’s. And thanks to the current 30% off sale, most things are WELL below $30 bucks.

Both lines go up to a size 18 (although I found the Aline pants to be cut a little small in the hips) and both lines have plus size extensions. The only gripes are that most of the products in store are more late summer than early fall and the online selection is well, non-existent. But being able to purchase a BCBG flower dress at the same place I buy my power tools is priceless.

Also for those of you looking for wrap dresses—definitely head over to H&M where I saw a navy blue/black flowered version that looks like it step right off the runway of the latest Marc Jacobs show, for $34.00. I heard they’re opening an H&M at the Mall of America in Minneapolis.

Let me apologize right now to 60% of you who live outside of New York City, but I just have to pass this tip along. Yesterday, while shopping with my incredibly stylish best friend Anne, we spotted EXACT copies (except they were black) of the shoes worn by Christina Ricci in Fall 2004 Louis Vuitton ads for $24.00 at the Strawberry next door to DSW in union square. I’m not sure how many they have left—but head on over today before the weekend rush.

Thank you so much for the Sears tip. I am now the happy owner of 1 Parallel and 2 A Line skirts, each beautiful and unusual, and for 5.99, 19.99, and 24.99!
