Sale Alert: Barney’s Warehouse Sale 2007 – New York & Los Angeles

Does anyone want to pack me in their luggage and take me?
I fit in overhead compartment sized luggage and larger and I am totally fine with not eating for a couple of hours on the flight.

Gotta comment here. Ladies, if you live in a city with a Barneys, check out the stores before the warehouse sale for great deals. All January, Barneys in New York City had wonderful deals in coop on dresses in a wide range of the sizes they normally carry (and since skirts are full, it’s not hard to fit in these clothes). Dozens of dresses for $49 to $140. And different things in different locations. The Chelsea location had completely wonderful, different things than Madison Ave. I think fewer women shop there. As for Barneys outside the city, they’re even better for discounts because they don’t have a warehouse, so they take 70 percent off in late January. But it goes really fast. I was in the D.C. store on the second day of their sale, and two dresses I was looking at sold while I was downstairs in the men’s dept. Last year I went to the warehouse sale, and I would swear prices were higher than in the actual store the year before. Lines are long, everything is picked over and I would never go there. Exception: If you wear a size 11 (or larger) shoe, check it out. They have lots. Sometimes things run big. You never know.
