Atlanta gets an H&M

What:
H&M, the hi-low fashion mecca, is opening 24,000 sq foot store in Atlanta’s Atlantic Station in March 2008. It will be the first (and only, at least for the moment) H&M store in the southeastern part of the US.

What the fashion heads say: from WWD:

“The store will carry the full line of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, accessories and lingerie, including basics, in-house designs and one-off collaborations with designers such as those in the past with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Viktor & Rolf and the upcoming line from Roberto Cavalli.”

What I say: About time…I love the fact that they’ll be in the same development as IKEA because H&M is like the IKEA of fashion.

Yes it’s about time.  I used to love the H&M store in Boston, MA.  I can’t wait.
