Neihter of these answers apply to me. I want to be 100% sure my make-up was not from a company that tests on animals so I only buy from places like Whole Foods. Usually there are no freebies available for the humane peeps.

I purchase most of my cosmetics from the dept store anyway, so why not get the gift?  Some of the gifts are fab and worth it, ranging from full size lipsticks( its great-but not often when they let you choose the colors,) samples of new products, to handy and attractive cosmetic bags and totes. For the record-every last one of my cosmetic bags have come free when buying makeup that I would have bought even if the gifts were not being offered. They have lasted pretty long too, and I am tough on my bags. Just my opinion!
