What We Say: Right after they shut down Ruehl, too! We’re not crazy about A&F to begin with – it’s a teenager’s world over there – but it’s easy enough to dip into the store randomly. And now that prices may start to go down, we’ve got a new reason to go. Wonder if other retailers are about to drop prices as well…

My only concern is what kind of deal has A & F made with their manufacturers that allows them to cut their prices? The garment industry is notorious for hiring manufacturers that have atrocious worker welfare practices already, just to charge what they charge, so I am a bit skeptical as to whether this is a good thing or not.
I’m not much of a fan of A&F. I shop online at Viva Swag. It’s just so much easier. And the prices are great for some great quality too!

I was never an Abercrombie & Fitch fan, and became even less of one after seeing the 60 Minutes segment on how they choose their associates. This may be a case of reaping what they have sown.
