Cut Out the Catalogs: Green Tips

March 19, 2008 by EcoistPaige on March 19, 2008

Finally someone has heard our pleas to stop the catalog madness! We must receive like, what, ten catalogs a week…at least! You’d think someone in their marketing department would know we NEVER purchase from those catalogs (ok some of them we do, but most we do not) and remove our name from their list. After all, those pretty glossies aren’t just costing trees, they’ve got to be pretty pricey in cash as well.

And, Home Decorators Catalog, we are a waste of those trees and your money. Trust us.

Finally, we have a way to prevent unwanted catalogs from being sent to us. It’s called CatalogChoice.org and it’s a free service that allows you to decline paper catalogs you don’t want to receive.

Preserve the environment and your sanity! Brilliant!
